OUR STORY
Years ago, Bath County was home to a thriving local metal scene. It was a place where many of us found friendship, belonging, and community. After a long hiatus, we're bringing that community together again for something bigger than ourselves.
Music can build community. Community can create change.
FOR THE KIDS WE WERE.
All of the volunteers behind this project grew up in the local music scene in Bath County, KY. We found lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and a sense of belonging there. We also witnessed the harm that can happen when adults abuse positions of trust.
This event is, in part, a reflection on where we've been and a commitment to doing better moving forward.

Today, we're coming together to support Gateway Children's Services and the important work they do for children and families throughout our region.
For the Kids was created to celebrate local music while raising money for a cause that matters. Every ticket sold, every sponsorship secured, every vendor booth reserved, and every donation made helps support Gateway's mission of strengthening families, supporting children, and building healthier communities.

We believe every child deserves a safe community, trusted adults, and the opportunity to grow up supported, protected, and valued.
We want future generations to have those same opportunities we had. Discovering community, creativity, and connection, but in environments that are safe, supportive, and built on trust.
Through music, community, and action, we're working to help make that future possible. This isn't just a concert. It's a chance for our community to come together, give back, and create something meaningful.
